Description:
The Security Control Center Operator is responsible for supporting the three areas of Security service, as a primary or secondary service provider. The three (3) areas are: Security and fire alarm system monitoring & emergency and routine dispatching of personnel, card access system administration and identification badging services. Security and Fire Alarm System Monitoring & Emergency and Routine Dispatching of Personnel: ? Dispatch and coordinate response to security related events that occur on our client property using email, telephone, radio, or pager. Response may be to medical emergencies, burglar, fire or duress alarms and other issues related to security operations. May provide liaison with law enforcement, fire department or industrial and civil emergency response organizations related to emergencies on the premises. · Monitor general alarms and camera systems. ? Receive, evaluate and disseminate incoming information and reports from Corporate Security personnel, Security officer?s in the field, client employees, suppliers and local agencies. · Respond to client emails pertaining to general security questions and/or concerns. ? Communicate abnormal conditions to Corporate Security personnel, management, client employees, suppliers, Facilities, Environmental Health and Safety, Emergency Operations Center (E.O.C.) representatives, repair companies and Security officers in the field. ? Operate & monitor computer workstations and emergency systems. Administrate and maintain process control systems and databases used in the Security Control Center. ? Provide support to the Corporate Operator function for emergency calls after business hours. ? Assist in coordinating Security service requests for after-hours access and temporary Security officer deployment. · Coordinate and action client requests including, but not limited to door unlocks, jump starts, and employee escorts. · Provide periodic reports to Corporate Security regarding security services provided. Card Access System Administration Provide administrative services for the Card Access System including enrolling, deleting and updating cardholder records, assigning clearance codes, special access process controls and records management. Badging Services ? Provide client ID Badging services including operation of ID badge creation systems and administration of associated database and programs. ? Work directly with customers in Badging Service Center to create a positive and efficient experience for the employees and/or Supplier obtaining an ID Badge. ? Maintain Security services records and files used in the Security Control Center. ? Coordinate Security department projects and special assignments as assigned by Corporate Security. ? Generate reports from security system and incident report database as requested by Corporate Security. · Provide access control for the different client areas.
