Job Title: Security Manager (Cannon AFB) Company: SAIC Location: Cannon AFB, NM Description: The Space and Geospatial Intelligence Business Unit (SGIBU) currently has an opening for an Security Manager at Cannon AFB in Clovis, NM. JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for developing and recommending integrated security system solutions that will ensure the confidentiality, availability and integrity of classified data. Assist with the implementation of DCID 6/3 information Security Program. Functions include processing personnel security clearances, preparing indoctrination paperwork, scheduling indoctrinations, managing SCI rosters, performing JPAS Record Maintenance, assisting with security education and annual and quarterly training, preparing visit requests, maintaining accountability of classified documents, implementing physical security measures, developing and implementing Information Security plans and procedures. Conducts semi-annual and annual self-inspections and formal inspections. Writing operations instruction and standard operating procedures for classified and SCI specific controls. Oversees and/or conducts all day-to-day activities involving access control and personnel security, (including visitor control) building access key or badge issue/accountability, and manages reinvestigation rosters. Assists personnel with SF 86 / eQIP packages and associated investigation requirements. Participate in physical security risk assessments, and perform other security duties as required. Assist in development of procedures to protect systems through proper cryptographic and boundary control interconnections using effective security procedures to include COMSEC inventory, installation, and destruction of SCI encryption material. Utilize Air Force and AFSOC approved electronic combat procedures and computer crime protocols to protect equipment, software, and data before, during, and after crimes, viruses, and attacks. Develop and initiate protective or corrective measures in response to security incidents and assist in conducting periodic reviews to ensure compliance. Frequently interacts with customers and functional peer groups. Mange a team of 6 entry controllers and insure procedures and processes are in place for 24/7 entry control. REQUIRED SKILLS: Solid knowledge of security management policies and procedures; working knowledge of the government customer's clearance procedures and document control regulations. Must be able to be designated as and function as a Facility Security Officer and/or SSR. DESIRED SKILLS: Military security experience/training desired. Proficiency with desktop computing platforms (PC) and applications (MS Office), and JPAS. Experience with Predator related computer security systems. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of related experience. Military security experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
