Job Title: Principal Investigator - Research Toxicologist Company: DuPont Location: Newark, DE Description: DuPont is seeking a Senior Research Toxicologist to work in Crop Protection at our Stine-Haskell research facility in Newark, DE. Senior Research Toxicologist will have expertise in either reproductive/developmental/endocrine or inhalation toxicology which will enable the incumbent to provide technical leadership and direction for the design, conduct, interpretation, and reporting of toxicology tests and research, and to provide consultation to DuPont businesses. Responsibilities/Duties: Lead and participate in study conduct, which includes protocol development and implementation, providing guidance to technical personnel, data interpretation, verbal and written communication of study results in a Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) environment. Work with customers in DuPont businesses to identify issues in specific area of expertise and design strategies to address them. Design, conduct, and interpret appropriate studies to address potential human health and risk of new or existing chemicals in order to help ensure the safety of DuPont products and processes. Design, conduct, and publish original research or testing programs in area of expertise to address toxicological problems of concern to DuPont. Effectively communicate findings to business and scientific audiences, through both oral presentations and written reports and manuscripts. Make recommendations for and implement methods development projects in area of expertise in order to help ensure that technical procedures used for testing and research are current and valid. May serve as a toxicology coordinator for one or more businesses and represent Haskell Global Centers and the Corporation on external industry and professional association committees. May also have team leader responsibilities.
