Job Title: Investigator Occupational Safety and Health Company: Occupational Safety and Health Administration Location: San Francisco, CA Description: Investigators in the Whistleblower Program are responsible for investigating and resolving complaints filed by employees who claim they were discharged and/or discriminated against in retaliation for whistleblowing activities related to workplace safety and health related concerns. At the GS-11 level, incumbent conducts investigations of complaints filed under a broad range of employee protection statutes and their enabling regulations and develops the appropriate course of action to be followed or recommended in such cases. Conducts witness interviews and negotiates with respondents, attorneys, and other representatives to obtain settlement agreements to resolve complaints.
