Job Title: Security Investigator Company: United States Steel Location: Ecorse, MI Description:  U. S. Steel is seeking a Security Investigator to carry out assignments within investigations of the security department of alleged or suspected violations of organizational policies, laws, regulations, and unauthorized activity either within or against the organization.            Responsiblities As assigned, conducts records, data, and surveillance video review and analysis. Collects statements and assists with interviews of suspects, witnesses, victims, and others in the gathering of case-related information. Prepares reports on the findings and results of investigative activity. Makes recommendations for investigation activities required for the completion of workplace investigations. Documents, stores, and maintains evidence according to the specified chain-of-custody guidelines. Other security duties as assigned.            Knowledge and Skills Demonstrates an ability to produce timely, accurate, and clear investigative reports. Demonstrates an ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with a diverse population.
