Job Title: Security Investigator (Beaverton, Oregon) -56608549 Company: Comcast Cable West Division Location: Beaverton, OR Description: In this position, you will be responsible for performing investigations of alleged criminal or other activity that may have a negative impact on Comcast. Investigations involve, but are not limited to; theft of services, theft of company property, vandalism, forgery, embezzlement, workplace violence, assaults, burglary and physical security assessments. Works with management in performing specific segments of an assignment such as gathering data, conducting interviews, searching records, securing documents, performing surveillance and preparing reports with minimal supervision. Build and maintain positive relationships with Comcast personnel. Ensures that all investigations/inquiries are completely objective and brought to a logical conclusionTimely and accurate completion of investigative reports. Must be able to manage multiple types of investigations at any time, assuming control of high stress investigative situationsMust be knowledgeable with laws and statutes impacting methods used in successful investigations, and be able to make sound decisions based on this experienceDevelopment and maintenance of professional working relationships with various law enforcement agencies. Often acts as single point of contact with law enforcement in cases involving employees or customersPerformance of surveillance activities as requiredConduct physical security assessments and prepare written reportsPunctual, regular, and consistent attendance Required Skills: HS diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree or higher preferredMust have valid drivers license and acceptable 5 year driving historyPrior law enforcement or investigative training and experience requiredPositive attitude, professional manner and appearance and proactive approach to assigned duties.
