In this position the individual will perform a wide variety of security operations in a fast-paced software engineering organization in San Luis Obispo, CA. The employee will be responsible for overseeing of day-to-day security operations (i.e., general site security operations, managing the proper security of classified programs and associated information systems in accordance with corporate policies and client directives, etc.) The position will work closely with corporate security and other departments as required and requires the interaction/partnering with government and industrial personnel at all ranks, grades and levels for all duties assigned. In addition, the individual must be willing and able to undertake administrative duties for the office, including but not limited to organizing travel arrangements, completing travel expense forms, ordering supplies, and managing all administrative needs of the office. The individual must be able to establish effective working relationships with team members, other staff, and external contacts. Be able to work with little supervision in a team environment.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Qualified candidates must possess at least 3 years of work experience. A minimum of 1 year in a security-related environment is highly desired. Working knowledge of standard/industrial security practices. Must have hands-on experience with personal computers using the Microsoft operating system and Microsoft office software.

The qualified candidate must possess excellent speaking, writing, organizational and customer service skills. Must be a U.S. citizen and either hold or be able to obtain and hold a SECRET clearance and DCID 6/4 eligibility. May require successful completion of a government administered polygraph test.
