Job Title: CDL Driver / Security Representative Company: Brink's Incorporated Location: Chicago, IL Description: Brink’s Document Destruction®, a service of Brink’s, Incorporated that provides a comprehensive security solution for the disposal of confidential wastepaper with on-site paper shredding services, is seeking an experienced CDL Driver - Security Representative. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this person safely operates mobile shredding equipment on scheduled runs to securely destroy customers’ confidential material. From a customer-centric perspective, ensures customer is receiving quality and efficient service. Acts as liaison between customer and branch manager while interacting with customer during the course of doing business. Specific Job Duties: • Maintain the highest degree of security and control of customers’ confidential material presented for destruction at all times. • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor while performing daily customer interactions. • Directly responsible for collection, guarding, and destruction of customers’ confidential material. • Maintain communication with Lead Security Representative and/or Marketing Coordinator to update route status. • Responsible for accurate and legible completion of service tickets, delivery tickets, route sheets, vehicle condition reports, and other documents as assigned. • Responsible for delivery of containers to activate new accounts. • Light vehicle maintenance and repair. • Identify and report new sales opportunities, opportunities for profit improvement. Skills/Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include: • Commercial Driver’s License, Class B, with Airbrake Endorsement • 2+ years commercial driving experience • Working knowledge of area roadways • Customer focused; ability and willingness to please and be helpful. • Able to pass a D.O.T. physical examination / drug screen. • Excellent driving history. • Able to lift and carry 50+ pounds. • Attention to detail; ability to legibly and accurately complete job-related forms • General math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication.
