Job Title: Armored Car Driver - PT Company: Brink's Incorporated Location: Charlotte, NC Description: Brink’s U.S., a division of Brink’s, Incorporated, is the premiere provider of armored car transportation, ATM servicing, currency and coin processing, document destruction and other value added services to financial institutions, retailers and other commercial and government entities.  The company has a proud history of providing growth and advancement opportunities for its employees.  We have a challenging opportunity for an PT Armored Car Driver/Guard.  The Driver/Guard position is responsible for the safe driving and control of the Brink’s armored vehicle (truck) while en route to various customer pick up and delivery locations.    Specific Job Duties: ?         Maintain the safety, security and control of the armored vehicle at all times. ?         Guard the Messenger during the actual delivery or pick up of valuables at a customer’s location. ?         Maintain radio communication with the Messenger and/or other vehicle crew and with dispatch personnel. ?         Load and unload the armored vehicle. ?         Complete appropriate driving/delivery documentation. ?         Other duties as required.   Skills/Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include: ?         Minimum of 21 years of age ?         Able to pass a D.O.T. physical examination/drug screen ?         Excellent driving history ?         Able to obtain a Class-B D.O.T. Commercial Driver’s License or other driver’s license as required by local, state or federal regulations ?         Able to lift 50 pounds ?         Willing to work in an armed environment and able to qualify for a firearm permit ?         History of working collaboratively with others ?         Solid work history and credit record ?         Strong ethics and integrity   If you have the background and integrity we require and are looking for a challenging opportunity, we hope you will consider employment with Brink’s U.S.  Brink’s provides an outstanding total compensation package for this position.
