ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
In support of Sensitive Programs at the Menlo Park facility, and with minimal supervision, perform duties which require a thorough knowledge of the security requirements for Industry National Security Programs, including SAP and SCI. The successful candidate will participate in the oversight of day-to-day security operations for Special Access and SCI classified activities; implement internal security procedures; participate in various security functions including the development of security plans, and executing the responsibilities of a Contractor Project Security Officer role (as assigned), be able to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, industrial security policy/procedural matters, and deal tactfully with government and industrial personnel at all ranks, grades and levels.
OTHER DUTIES:
Be available for occasional after hours assistance. Some travel within the continental United States will be required.
EXPERIENCE:
Qualified candidates will have minimum 5 years experience in the SCI and SAP environment. Working knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), the NISPOM Supplement, DCID, JAFAN, and ICD requirements. Must have hands-on experience with personal computers using Microsoft operating system and Microsoft office family of software. Experience with SIMS is preferred. Must possess excellent speaking, writing, organizational and customer service skills.
EDUCATION/DISCIPLINE PREFERRED:
4 year degree or equivalent preferred. Combination of related industrial security experience will be considered.
REMARKS
Must be a U.S. citizen and currently hold a TOP SECRET clearance and be able to pass DCID 6/4 eligibility. May require successful completion of a government administered polygraph test. Lifting (max 40 lbs) occasionally required, and the ability to climb a six foot ladder.
