Requests assistance from the Physical Security Supervisor (PSS) when an employee or a visitor becomes belligerent, demanding or troublesome. 5. Remains at the designated post until relieved by another Plant Protection Officer or authorized to leave by the PSS. 6. Performs scheduled inspections of the plant facilities and premises to ensure security and safety procedures are followed, safety hazards are eliminated and security procedures are enforced. 7. Documents, in writing, all unusual occurrences, significant events, safety, health and security incidents witnessed or otherwise involved in and reports them to the PSS. 8. Studies training materials and instructions in the pass-on-book in order to maintain and/or increase job knowledge. Regularly reviews all instructions in the pass-on-book. 9. Required to maintain certifications in first aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). 1 . Complies with instructions of Supervisors, the Plant Protection Operating Instructions and Special Instructions. May be required to pass on instructions and assist in supervision of other Plant Protection Officers in the absence of the PSS. 11.
