Security Supervisor Department:        SecurityReports To:         Director of Campus Safety and SecuritySupervises:         Security StaffPay Grade:           C, Non-Exempt; Full-time; $13.50-14.50 DOEWork Schedule:  Predominantly Wed-Sun 4pm-midnight; available to work any shift when needed Purpose:  Assists the Director of Campus Safety and Security in the effective management of all aspects of security and parking operations, evening shuttle, loss prevention and incident investigation for all Cornish facilities. Responsibilities:Assists the Director of Campus Safety and Security in the following areas: 1. Providing a secure and safe environment for all students, faculty, staff and visitors including:enforcing established security methods and implementing prudent risk management strategies working to support all campus programs relating to welfare and safetymaintaining first aid kits and fire extinguishers for College responding to all security concerns and emergency situationsconducting orientations for the College community with respect to security and safety policies and proceduresreferring all disciplinary issues to appropriate personnelwatching for unauthorized visitors monitoring use of Cornish propertyproviding interface with Seattle Police Department and the Metropolitan Improvement District personnelconducting thorough investigationsproviding on-call coverage in the event of emergency2. Participating in supervision of campus security systems including:video and burglar alarm systemskey card entry systemsmonitoring use of College ID3. Participating in supervision of College's security staff by:providing training in appropriate security methods creating and overseeing campus patrolsmonitoring staff schedules and attendanceproviding input concerning security staff's performancebuilding a cohesive team 4. Participating in supervision of the College's Parking Management Plan and evening shuttle operation including:overseeing all aspects of parking management, including ticketing and collectionsoverseeing nighttime shuttle system maintaining shuttle vehicle as needed5.
