Job Title: Air Safety Investigator 5 Company: Boeing Location: Long Beach, CA Description:   Principle Boeing mishap investigation point of contact for C-17 operating commands (AMC, AETC, PACAF, ANG, AFRC), foreign customers, the Air Force Safety Center, operating bases, and customer safety and accident investigation boards. Coordinates and directs the efforts of numerous Boeing Integrated Product Teams to assist mishap boards in resolving issues relating to their investigations. Chairs the C-17 Mishap Review Committee when initiated. May accompany and act as the company lead for any Boeing employees sent on-site to support a major aircraft accident. Maintains accident/incident files involving C-17 aircraft and coordinates with legal counsel and corporate insurance as required.
