Rover / Event Security Officer

Responsibilities:

As an Event Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' events and premises. Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining safety protocols while remaining vigilant during patrols and securing the premises.
  • Collaborating with your team to provide security coverage for events in the City of Industry and potentially other surrounding areas.
  • Availability to work weekends and cover day and swing shifts as required.
  • Performing various security officer duties as specified by contract requirements and site-specific post orders.
  • Responsibilities may encompass access control for guests and customers, enforcement of client and company policies and procedures, and observation and reporting of fire and safety hazards.
  • Conducting routine foot patrols in and around buildings to deter security breaches and ensure a safe environment.
  • Promptly reporting all issues and incidents to the operations manager and clients.
  • Interacting professionally with a diverse range of individuals, including clients, visitors, the public, first responders, employees, and the general public.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid guard card is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle various situations with a customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
