Security Professional - Armed Patrol - Transport Officer

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol - Transport Officer in Punta Gorda, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an armed security professional in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with all individuals on site. This armed post requires you to respond promptly to situations as they arise, always acting with integrity and professionalism. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together to create a secure environment for everyone present.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or potential issues.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior through visible presence and engagement.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and adapt to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state or local regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
