Job Description

What You'll Do:

Responsibilities of the Investigator include but are not limited to:

This position is a regulatory position.

Work in a regulatory capacity and ensure the racino is following rules, regulations, laws and standard operating procedures.

Ensure racino operations comply with all statutory and administrative provisions.

Respond to incidents occurring on site, complete reports and maintain a compliance database for reports of suspicious activity, unusual incidents, and all other reportable incidents.

Complete background investigations on racino employees.

Facilitate the licensing process for racino gaming employees.

Provide exceptional customer service to patrons and racino staff.

Congratulate jackpot winners.

Observe Intercept process for winners and create Intercept Accounts.

Assist patrons enroll in the Time Out Ohio Program and provide program information.

Use surveillance equipment and ensure proper surveillance coverage of all Video Lottery Terminals in the racino facility.

Monitor the floor Drop and ensure compliance with established procedure.

Monitor all Video Lottery Terminal floor moves and ensure compliance with established procedure.

Receive incoming Video Lottery Terminals and verify shipping security seals, serial numbers, description of the machines, and manufacturer name.

Verify Video Lottery Terminals to be removed and confirm manufacturer name and serial number.

Work as a team player to assist the team in completing its goals and objectives.

Learn to use Lottery-specific software applications for daily job responsibilities.

Work in a location that is open 24 hours per day/7 days per week.

Perform other duties and work on special projects.

Qualifications

30 months training or 30 months investigative experience with experience corresponding to type of complaints & alleged violations appearing in job posting/approved position description; valid driver's license.

-Or Completion of associate core program in law enforcement, criminal justice or in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 12 months experience conducting investigations &/or inspections; valid driver's license.

-Or 30 months training or 30 months experience as Investigator Assistant, 26210 with experience corresponding to type of complaints & alleged violations appearing in job posting/approved position description; valid driver's license.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
