ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Active Security Representative III to join our team in the Colorado Springs, CO area.
The Activity Security Representatives primary function is to provide multi-disciplined security support to a customers facility and organization. The position will provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage classification reviews, document control, destruction of classified materials, and mail handling for secure correspondence
- Maintain personnel access systems, security files, document accountability records, and billet/quota tracking
- Process visit requests, access badges, and conduct entry/exit inspections within secured areas
- Conduct security clearance processing, including JPAS/DISS, JADE, SAPNP, DCII, and Program Access Requests (PARs)
- Administer electronic data transfers, media accountability, and secure file movement across systems
- Support inspections, enforce Standard Operating Procedures, and maintain Top Secret Control processes
- Collaborate with intelligence/counterintelligence teams and develop security plans for test, evaluation, and deployment activities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree; 4 additional years of relevant experience might be considered in lieu of degree.
- 10+ years of related experience,
- 3+ years experience with SCI or SAP programs.
- Must complete the DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training.
- SIMS database familiarity.
- Must Complete JPAS training within six months of starting on contract if performing SCI personnel security functions.
- Must complete Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of ICDs, JAFANs, DoD Manuals, and relevant policy guidance
- Ability to perform in dynamic environments and interact with military, government, and industry stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- High initiative and independence, with strong problem-solving and mentoring skills
Clearance Requirements:
- Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- Willingness to submit to a polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
