Lake Park High School is currently hiring for the position of Day Shift Safety Monitor (10-Month Position) as detailed below: DATE POSTED: 4/21/2026 LOCATION: Floating Position for Lake Park East and West Campus AVAILABILITY: 8/4/2026 QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree (in criminal justice-related field preferred) Law enforcement or security experience required Proficient with PCs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and cloud-based applications Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed Effective interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills Strong organizational skills Strong orientation toward providing customer service Strong work ethic Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The work hours are 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. Safety Monitor SALARY & BENEFITS: Hourly rate ranges from $23.41 to $26.49 based on experience and level of education, per the ESP Salary Schedule Appendix B (Safety and Security) in the District 108 Negotiated Agreement . This is a benefits-eligible position including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund ( IMRF ).
