Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Security Analyst - Hybrid position with a Major Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the application penetration testing lifecycle. This includes scheduling and conducting tests with external vendors, coordinating with internal development teams, reviewing findings, and managing the retesting of fixed vulnerabilities. The role requires fluency in application penetration testing methodologies and a strong understanding of OWASP vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end application penetration testing process

Work with external testers and internal application development teams to schedule and conduct tests

Review penetration test results and manage the retesting of fixed issues

Provide advice and guidance to management and internal developers on security vulnerabilities

Requirements:

5-7 years of experience in a relevant cybersecurity role

Proven experience with the application penetration testing process

Fluency in application penetration testing methodologies and OWASP vulnerabilities

Ability to work effectively with both external vendors and internal development teams

Pay range: $49.84 - $53.84 per hour
