Security Guard - Manufacturing Plant in Alliston

Are you ready to advance your security career? We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Gate Guard for one of Canada's largest automotive manufacturing facilities. This is an essential role where you will manage site access, maintain safety, and be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Valid Ontario Security Guard License

Valid First Aid & CPR Certification

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer proficiency

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

Reliable transportation to and from the site

Position Details:

Pay Rate: $18.50

Shift Time: Days or nights, full time

Location - 4700 Industrial Parkway, Alliston

Key Responsibilities:

Control all incoming and outgoing traffic for the plant

Monitor security access, fire, and environmental systems

Conduct ID checks, vehicle/trailer inspections, and visitor logging

Respond to alarms and coordinate emergency responses

Maintain accurate documentation of all incidents and emergency activities

Manage emergency contact lists and access logs

Support site investigations using Lenel and Avigilon systems

Perform standard Security Guard duties and assist with administrative tasks

Basic computer skills and radio communication
