Job Site: Kokomo High School

Hourly Rate: Commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting the building principal in creating and ensuring that a safe learning environment is established and maintained in the school building. Available to provide training for students, staff, and the community, as requested, regarding prevention and intervention services that benefit students and the school community. Enforcement of all Indiana statutes. Prevent and respond to acts of crime and violence and breaches of security. High visibility patrols of hallways, lots, and sections of the facility. Assist school administrators and faculty, and respond to assignments from the Principal and the Director of Social and Student Services as requested. Attend school safety and security training per state statute.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Graduate of Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.

Certified full time state, county, or municipal law enforcement experience is desired.

Valid Indiana Driver's License.
