Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst (GSOC Officer)
SUMMARY:
The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst supporting global security management
and other business function leaders for a high-profile client. This role executes the various core
functions of the GSOC to include, but not limited to; incident identification/escalation,
intelligence collection and analysis, physical security, and emergency response. Analysts work
closely with teams across the organization to apply information requirements, deliver timely
analysis, and present key insights to internal stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties are necessary to meet the
minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:
Serve as communications hub for a global security organization
Monitor global events and assess/communicate impact to Fortune 500 financial services
company
Create risk intelligence reports for global security management and other stakeholders
Receive requests for assistance from employees & respond appropriately
Provide support and participate in crisis mitigation and after-action reporting
Monitor and communicate risks associated with client assets
Monitor security platforms and applications (access control, video surveillance,
environmental, etc.)
Collaborate with security guard force and other business partners to meet operational
goals
Create and distribute risk-related mass notifications
Assist global security management with other tasks as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Intelligence, corporate, military and/or security experience is preferred
Must have ability to communicate at an executive level, both written and oral
Ability to make decisions, multi-task, and operate within high stress situations
Possess working knowledge of current global events and global geography/cultures
Ability to analyze and think critically
Ability to follow written policy/procedures
Solid computer knowledge and skills
Capable of working independently and collaboratively in-person or virtually
Self-motivated, highly responsive, and proactive
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Emergency Management, Business, Economics,
Communications, Information Technology, Political Sciences, Engineering, Geography,
or related field
Intelligence, corporate, military, and/or security experience
