Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant safety experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
- 4+ years of safety leadership experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
- OSHA 10

- Lean Greenbelt certification

Essential Functions
- Provide total management of MAU staff assigned to multiple shift operations
- Ensure material flow processes meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) standards
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Lead and manage the MAU Safety Program onsite
- Facilitate annual safety program assessments and Safety Action Plans
- Manage OSHA-required safety programs and annual training initiatives
- Facilitate onboarding and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training programs
- Conduct safety audits using SafetyNet, BBS, and PIT observations
- Maintain and analyze safety data to identify trends and concerns
- Develop training materials, standard work procedures, and safety documentation
- Coach and mentor associates on workplace safety practices
- Serve on MAU and customer safety steering committees
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for safety and HR-related incidents
- Facilitate OSHA 10- and 30-hour outreach courses for associates
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Manufacturing and warehouse environments
- Exposure to process manufacturing equipment and industrial vehicles
- Environments may include non-climate-controlled hot/cold conditions
- GMP clean room environments may be required
