at ROAD TITANS INC in Lisle, Illinois, United States Job Description Responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring company-wide safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Oversee driver safety programs, conduct safety audits, coordinate training, investigate incidents, and promote a culture of safety across all company operations. Specific duties include: implement and maintain the company's safety and compliance program for drivers, fleet vehicles, and warehouses; conduct routine safety inspections of vehicles, equipment, and facilities to ensure adherence to company and regulatory safety standards; monitor driver qualification files, hours-of-service records, and vehicle maintenance files to ensure compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations; investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; complete required reports; recommend corrective and preventive actions; coordinate drug and alcohol testing programs per DOT regulations; deliver and/or coordinate safety training sessions for drivers and operational staff; maintain required OSHA logs, incident records, and safety audit documentation; and act as a liaison with insurance companies, government agencies, and internal stakeholders regarding safety and compliance issues. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : High School/ GED and Two (2) years of experience in transportation safety compliance, occupational safety management, or fleet safety management REQUIRED SKILLS: Must have experience with: Knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA, HOS rules, ELD mandates, and safety compliance standards; Freight management, customs brokerage coordination, and supply chain optimization.
