The selectee of this position serves as a Physical Security Specialist responsible for advising and consulting with the Federal judges, U.S. Attorneys, Clerks of Court, U.S. Marshals, etc., on judicial security matters. The incumbent also serves as an Equipment and Installation Standards Specialist.
This position is located in the Judicial Security Division / Arlington, Virginia. . To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, you must meet the following:

You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties:

- Participating in testing of security equipment and performing security inspections of facilities and documenting findings;
- Assisting with the physical security equipment selection process;
- Training personnel on the operation of security equipment; and
- Formulating, developing, and recommending policies, procedures, and guidelines for facility security systems.
