Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, entrances, restricted areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas involving healthcare operations, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or security-related issues according to post orders.
• Support Allied Universal protocols for armed posts by maintaining professional presence, handling assigned equipment responsibly, and following all applicable training, reporting, and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
