Responds quickly and effectively to emergency and non-emergency situations. Identifies individuals experiencing emotional distress and/or not properly processing information. Is supportive or directive as required by situation. Intervenes verbally and/or physically during crisis. Escorts and assists patients, visitors, and staff. Remains alert and vigilant for activities which could result in injury. Executes written and verbal instructions. Writes accurate, clear, and legible reports. Remains informed on current layout of all organizational locations. Rounds on units/departments and other locations as scheduled or necessary.
