Duties
Help
Responsible for conducting both internal and external prols of the hospital, parking lots/garages, and grounds.
Duties include execution of the physical security, crime prevention and anti-terrorism programs as directed by the MTF Provost Marshall/ Security Officer.
Execute Ransom Anti-Terrorism Measures (RAM) as directed.
Conduct and document prols of all Mission Essential or Vulnerable Area (MEVA) and High-Risk Targets (HRT) identified by the Hospital Commander.
Respond to incidents, provide written reports of suspicious persons or items; de-escale disturbances; and restrain combive individuals to include pients, ors, or staff.
Monitor personnel access via both personal sight and electronic access control systems into restricted areas and intrusion detection system alarms using both manual and electronic methods.
Perform duties stic and roving positions to direct pients, ors, vendors and contractors op the approprie MTF office, ward or clinic, as needed.

A Personnel Security Investigion is required
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determinion of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the durion of employment. A background investigion and credit check are required.
Selectees required to sign a stement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinions or must provide a recognized exemption.
This position is a Testing Designed Position subject to pre-employment screening and random drug testing. Selectees required to consent to participion in random drug urinalysis testing.

For Security Guard positions in a hospital setting, experience as a psychiric nursing assistant or a similar position safeguarding pients is qualifying.
