Overview
The Senior Regional Security Manger for the Americas is a senior leadership role responsible for leading physical security, life safety, risk management, and incident response operions across North America and South America. This role oversees regional operions, manages security partners, supports global security initiives, and ensures alignment with enterprise standards. The ideal candide brings a strong background in program development, stakeholder engagement, process optimizion, and operional murity, enabling the continuous enhancement of our regional security posture.
How you'll make an impactProgram Development & Optimizion
- Assess and continuously mure regional security programs to improve risk visibility, operional resilience, and consistency across North and South America.
- Implement improvements to policies, procedures, and security governance frameworks in alignment with global standards.
- Adapt global security policies, standards, and procedures to align with local regulory, privacy, and labor requirements while maintaining enterprise consistency.
- Navige regional governance considerions, including employee representive bodies when introducing security processes or technologies.
- Support continuous improvement initiives across physical security operions, technology, and service delivery.
- Drive cross-functional collaborion to ensure security processes integre effectively with business operions.
- Develop and manage regional security budget, ensuring cost-effective allocion of resources.
- Contribute to stregic planning for physical security and risk management initiives across the Americas.
Regional Security Operions
- Direct and govern regional security operions across multiple countries and risk profiles.
- Serve as the regional escalion authority in partnership with the Global Security Response Center (GSRC) for incidents, crises, and executive risk mters.
- Manage guard force operions, vendor contracts, SLAs, and performance metrics.
- Conduct risk assessments, physical security audits, and readiness reviews.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and internional regulions and standards.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulions th may impact physical security operions and implement adjustments to stay in compliance.
Risk, Thre, & Incident Management
- Support or lead incident response for regional safety, physical security, and business continuity events.
- Act as key spokesperson during security incidents, ensuring clear and effective communicion with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collabore with Security Risk Intelligence & Executive Protection teams to ensure proactive monitoring and protective measures for key personnel, facilities, and travelers.
- Maintain strong relionships with internal partners (Legal, HR, IT, Real Este, Compliance, BC) to ensure coordined response during regional events.
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Support
- Serve as the primary regional advisor to senior business leaders, enabling informed decisions around travel, workplace security, events, and emerging thres.
- Transle security and thre intelligence into clear, actionable insights for non-security stakeholders.
- Deliver reporting, dashboards, and insights to executive stakeholders and Global Safety & Security leadership.
- Establish strong working relionships with regional business leaders to ensure our program continues to support business needs.
- Build and maintain relionships with local law enforcement, emergency services, and community organizions to strengthen regional security partnerships.
- Represent Gallagher industry events, conferences, and forums.
About You
Required: Bachelor's degree in Corpore/Informion Security, Criminal Justice, Crisis Management, Business, or reled field + 9 years of experience in one or all of the following disciplines; corpore security management, security and asset policy development, and physical security infrastructure design, within a multi-locion global corpore environment or 15+ years of applicable experience. Excellent written and verbal communicion skills with ability to concisely and effectively address questions while providing subject mter expertise on policy to associes and management across diverse global sites. Ability to travel (10%).
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Internional Relions, Business, Emergency Management, or reled field.
- 8-12+ years of progressive experience in physical security, crisis management, or corpore risk roles, including multi-country oversight.
- Demonstred ability to enhance, optimize, or eleve security programs or operions.
- Experience with GSOC collaborion, incident management, and regional security response.
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems and technology plforms.
- Skilled managing vendors and complex service delivery models.
- Strong communicion skills with proven experience partnering with senior leadership.
- Strong MS Office proficiency.
- Ability to travel regionally (25-40%), as well as internionally outside the Americas when required.
Preferred
- Certified Emergency Manger (CEM)
- ISO 31000 Risk Management Certificion
- Experience in reguled environments
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly desirable
- Experience rolling out or muring regional security standards, audits, or governance frameworks.
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compension package. The base salary range represents the anticiped low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compension will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, educion, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
