Security Officer Full Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time NYS Patrol in Bronx, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to support a secure environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. In this unarmed role, you will respond to security-related concerns, assist visitors and staff, and deliver customer service with professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following posted protocols, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate at a government location serving the public.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or public agency contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, access, and policy-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, assist with visitor and occupant interactions, and help to enforce site rules, identification procedures, and restricted-access requirements.
• Complete routine reports, maintain detailed activity logs, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, unusual activity, and follow-up needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A minimum of 6 or more months of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
