The Site Security Manager leads a team of site security personnel, including site managers, field training officers, and security officers, and is accountable for delivering physical security-reled services one or more assigned locions within a geographic area. The SSM is responsible for the leadership development of the individuals who report to them, while also being accountable for the delivery of security operions these locions. The SSM partners with senior leadership and management teams in Security and Operions to drive operional effectiveness, superior performance, and audit readiness.

Position Overview:
The Site Security Manager leads a team of site security personnel, including site managers, field training officers, and security officers, and is accountable for delivering physical security-reled services one or more assigned locions within a geographic area. The SSM is responsible for the leadership development of the individuals who report to them, while also being accountable for the delivery of security operions these locions. The (SSM) partners with senior leadership and management teams in Security and Operions to drive operional effectiveness, superior performance, and audit readiness. Responsible for preserving an environment where people and property are safe and well-protected, the CSM utilizes their professional experience to manage individuals with varying skill sets and develops effective stregies to drive improvement. The SSM reports directly to the regional security manager, works alongside other site security managers in their metro area, and manages the Security Team Manager (STM).

Essential Functions:

1. Manages physical security operions multiple critical infrastructure facilities.
2. Drives safety programming for the security team with a goal of zero workplace injuries onsite.
3. Actively manages site security personnel; partners with the local branch to recruit and hire, oversee onboarding, training, and development the sites.
4. Ensures each staff member is treed with dignity and respect.
5. Plans, assigns, and manages physical security projects and tasks to timely completion.
6. Coaches security employees and carries out disciplinary actions in accordance with current policy.
7. Evalues the effectiveness of site security operions and provides recommendions for improvement.
8. Utilizes excellent customer service and communicion skills, sets the example, and holds site security staff accountable to do the same.
9. Ensures site health and key performance indicor goals are met or exceeded; works with the regional security manager (RSM) to enhance security team effectiveness and performance.
10. Meets regularly with the client and Securitas corpore management representives for account reviews, addresses issues in a timely manner, and supports security planning, assessments, and surveys.
11. Keeps management informed of major accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
12. Follows standardized procedures to successfully complete unannounced audits.
13. Builds and maintains relionships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure environment.
14. Splits time equally between sites, building familiarity with each locion, leading the team, building the program, and coaching for success.
