Security Officer Medical Campus

As a Security Officer Medical Campus Access Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with staff and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report unusual behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by following post orders, maintaining awareness of sensitive areas, and assisting with security-related requests from staff, patients, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
