Security Officer Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol Detail in Urbandale, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas, assist with visitor access processes, and document daily activities, observations, and/or incident information in required reports.
• Support property operations by reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, helping to deter unwanted activity while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
