Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or public agency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, following visitor procedures, and documenting arrivals, departures, and notable activity.
• Prepare detailed activity and incident reports, communicate observations to supervisors and/or client representatives, and support de-escalation during interactions with individuals in need of assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
