Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and vendor screening practices in accordance with site-specific protocols, helping to support orderly operations throughout the location.
• Assist with de-escalation support, direction-giving, and other customer service-related duties while maintaining awareness of security-related issues in patient care and public areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
