Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol in Talladega, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or public sector personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and report security-related issues, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Support order at the location by following post instructions, assisting with incident reporting, and maintaining a professional presence during routine operations and/or elevated situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
