Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Screen visitors, patients, and/or staff entering the location, verify identification or required documentation, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and communicating with medical personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor entry points and high-traffic areas to help support security-related procedures, visitor management expectations, and orderly movement throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations when requested, noting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital-required vaccines are required.
• This position may involve working in a hospital morgue environment.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
