- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
- Support access control, traffic direction, and/or visitor management functions while maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- This is primarily a driving post.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
