Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor movement to help to deter unauthorized entry and support site protocols.
• Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
