- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor movement to help to deter unauthorized entry and support site protocols.
- Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
