Security Officer Patrol Detail

As a Security Officer Patrol Detail in Monmouth Junction, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, while bringing a reliable, caring, and innovative approach grounded in integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, delivery-related issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Support orderly traffic flow for incoming and outgoing shipments, assist with visitor and vehicle check-in procedures, and help to maintain awareness of site activity during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
