- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with verifying credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or restricted area activity.
- Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, preparing incident documentation, and helping to address customer service needs in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to ride a bike.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
