Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Day Time Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards, suspicious behavior, and other security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while assisting with visitor screening, direction, and general support in accordance with site policies and post instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include the morgue.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
