Day Time Mon 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 07:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor and staff entry processes in accordance with site procedures, helping to support orderly operations within the location.
- Support a professional environment by addressing routine questions, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, hazards, and/or policy-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
- Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to restrain individuals when required.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
