Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and established emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site leadership and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, common areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity in accordance with post orders, helping to support orderly operations, access control, and compliance with location rules and expectations.
• Provide visible support during resident interactions and high-traffic periods, using de-escalation techniques, verbal communication, and customer service skills to address concerns and/or direct individuals to appropriate onsite resources.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
