Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, credential verification, visitor processing, and site-specific security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, screen personnel and/or vehicles as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, sensitive materials, and/or controlled spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access records, communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or site contacts, and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including interior areas and perimeter points, while observing for suspicious activity, access concerns, and other security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
