Security Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build a career with our Security team as a Security Officer. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Schedule: 10pm to 6:30am Sunday to Thursday and rotates Saturday 5am to 11am

Pay: $19.81 an hour

Responsibilities:

• Access control to all entry points.
• Monitor CCTV cameras throughout the facility.
• Respond promptly to security related questions and calls.
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons are in restricted areas.
• Provide directs and information to team members, visitors, and customers.
• Use of proprietary software to create badges as needed and run badge reports.
• Maintain security presence at Nicholas and Company Salt Lake distribution center.
• Perform routine rounds on the interior and exterior of the facility including parking areas.
• Understand and enforce Nicholas and Company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
• Perform scene assessment, gathers relevant information, resolves conflict, and completes appropriate documentation.

Required:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Be organized with strong attention to deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, state, federal, and safety regulations.
• Perform essential duties, responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and safely, with or without reasonable accommodation without creating threat or harm.
