- General
Eastern Airlines is seeking an experienced Director of Security & FSO to lead our aviation, corporate, and industrial security programs. This role ensures compliance with TSA, FAA, and DCSA requirements while protecting our passengers, employees, aircraft, and facilities.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- AviationSecurity Oversight— Lead TSA Part 1544 compliance, airport security operations, cargo screening, andaircraftprotection.
- FSO Program Management— Maintain the Facility Clearance (FCL), manage personnel clearances, oversee classified information handling, and conduct required training and selfinspections.
- Physical & Corporate Security— Manage access control, CCTV, securearea protocols, and incident investigations across corporate and operational facilities.
- Regulatory Liaison— Serve as primary contact for TSA, FAA, DHS, DCSA, airport authorities, and law enforcement.
- Team Leadership— Lead security staff and airport security coordinators; promote a strong security culture across the airline.
- Qualification Requirements
- ActiveTop Secretclearance (or ability to obtain).
- 8–10+ yearsin aviation, corporate, or government security.
- Experience withTSA Part 1544, FAA regulations, and airport operations.
- Certified FSO with CDSE training.
- ProficiencywithDISS,NISS, and insider threat requirements.
