JOB SUMMARY:
Observes and reports activities and incidents an assigned client site, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities and inspects protection devices and fire control equipment. Preserves order and enforces regulions and directives for the site regarding personnel, visitors, and premises.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Controls access to client site or facility:

   • Admits visitors with legitime needs efficiently.

   • Screens visitors and client employees.

   • Expedites admittance to the site or facility.

2. Provides a welcoming mosphere:

   • Ensures client employees and visitors feel valued and cared for.

   • Interacts courteously, respectfully, and pleasantly.

   • Represents the client and its security department positively.

3. Communices effectively:

   • Communices openly, honestly, and responsively in all situions.

   • Provides informion about the site and surrounding area as authorized.

4. Monitors site security:

   • Monitors entrances, exits, and movement of people and vehicles.

   • Prevents unauthorized entry and ensures compliance with regulions.

   • Operes ge and examines vehicle contents.

   • Uses closed-circuit television for remote entrance monitoring.

   • Directs disruptive individuals calmly away from the property.

5. Conducts prols:

   • Prols assigned site on foot or in vehicle.

   • Identifies unsafe conditions, hazards, security violions, and unauthorized persons.

   • Inspects buildings and grounds using approprie equipment and protective gear.

6. Manages incidents and emergencies:

   • Protects evidence and incident scenes during accidents, emergencies, or security investigions.

   • Sets up barriers, provides signage, and offers direction or informion to others.

7. Maintains records:

   • Prepares logs or reports required for the site.

   • Writes reports or enters informion into a computer using standard grammar.

   • Reviews security control logs and takes necessary actions.

8. Reports incidents:

   • Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activities to client representives, company management, or public safety authorities as approprie.

9. Responds to emergencies:

   • Responds to fire, medical emergencies, bomb thres, flooding, and wer discharge incidents.
