Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces to help support authorized access, visitor direction, and compliance with location procedures.
• Support a professional environment by reporting maintenance issues, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and following Allied Universal standards for reporting and post duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
