Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Portland, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will support access activities and deliver strong customer service and communication while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated access points, verifying credentials and reporting unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support a professional presence at a government location by assisting with directional inquiries, maintaining awareness of daily operations, and communicating clearly with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
